Closing the 2025 Mango Season on Our Axarquía Farms: A Positive Review

The 2025 mango season on our Axarquía farms has come to an end, and at Salsa Agrícola, we are making a very positive assessment. After several years in which drought had heavily impacted our production, this season was different. Favorable weather conditions and good agricultural practices resulted in an excellent harvest, both in quantity and quality.

The Progress of the 2025 Mango Season in Axarquía

We began at the end of August with the harvest of Osteen mangoes, one of the most appreciated varieties for its flavor and texture. In September, it was the turn of the Palmer mango, and finally, in October, we harvested the Keitt mango, completing a balanced and satisfactory close to the 2025 mango season. Throughout the campaign, the fruits showed excellent size, vibrant color, and exceptional taste—all indicators of the quality we cultivate on our farms.

The quality of this season reflects the continuous effort and dedication we put into our plantations. Despite being relatively young farms, barely four years old, our mango trees are beginning to show their true productive potential. This year, we have managed to obtain high-quality mangoes, giving us optimism for the future, with production expected to grow steadily.

The Future of Mango Production in Axarquía

The Irwin mango orchard that we are currently developing also promises to be one of our major projects in the coming years. We expect this variety to deliver excellent results and further consolidate Salsa Agrícola’s presence as a benchmark in mango production in Axarquía.

This season is not only a reflection of the favorable conditions we have experienced, but also of our commitment to sustainable, responsible, and high-quality agriculture. At Salsa Agrícola, we continue to invest in the Málaga countryside, carefully tending every detail to offer the very best from our land.
